About Dr. Adam Foleck, DMD

Dr. Foleck received his undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his dental training from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1997. He continued his post-graduate training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center/School of Dentistry. During this time, he could place and restore dental implants, train in bone and gingival (gum) grafting, and focus on full mouth rehabilitation.

Afterward, he relocated to Norfolk, VA, to enter private practice. In 2002, he completed the MAXI/Implant program, a year-long implant course at the Medical College of Georgia and in Atlanta. In 2004, he passed the written and oral exam to receive an Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In 2011, he was among only thirteen in North America to receive Diplomate status in the American Board of Oral Implantology. He became a Fellow (based on his credentials) of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 2012 and an Honored Fellow in 2014.

Since 2007, Dr. Foleck has lectured internationally and nationally on dental implants, grafting, and CAD/CAM surgical integration and mentoring dentists interested in implant dentistry. In 2023 he authored a chapter in Modern Implant Dentistry, the top-selling implant textbook on “Implants in the Esthetic Zone”. He is focused on providing the best esthetic results when restoring a patient’s mouth and has developed concepts and techniques to ensure the best results. He is sought after as a lecturer to help others in this difficult area within dentistry. Besides lecturing at continuums, training centers, and large implant meetings, Dr. Foleck has lectured at the prestigious Implant Residency Program at Loma Linda Dental School.

His affiliations include membership in the Tidewater Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Academy of Osseointegration, and the American Board of Oral Implantology. He has served as chairman of several committees for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry participated in other committees and a former Vice President.

Currently, he serves on the membership committee of the Academy of Osseointegration. He is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Norfolk and gives his time to charitable organizations. Dr. Foleck enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with his wife and four children.
